  • Mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Pertanian jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan pada tahun 1990 dari Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Yang bersangkutan sekarang bekerja sebagai staf peneliti di laboratorium Virologi, Balai Penelitian Tanaman Hias, Badan Litbang Pertanian sejak tahun 1991.Yang bersangkutan pernah menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Bagian Proyek Penelitian Hortikultura Segunung dari tahun 1993-1998. Menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Kelompok Peneliti Hama dan Penyakit Balithi dari tahun 1999 sampai sekarang. Menjabat di organisasi profesi ilmiah Perhimpunan Fitopatologi Indoensia Komda Segunung sebagai Sekretaris dari tahun 1999 sampai sekarang.Jenjang jabatan fungsional sebagai Peneliti Madya terhitung mulai Oktober 2005. Pengalaman di penelitian, pernah ikut penelitian di Riset Unggulan Terpadu (RUT) sebagai teknisi dari tahun 1994 sampai 1997, sekarang melaksanakan penelitian tentang penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus pada beberapa komoditi tanaman hias. Aktif mempublikasikan kegiatan ilmiah dan hasil penelitian baik sebagai penulis tunggal, utama atau co-author yang diterbitkan dalam Jurnal Ilmiah, Semi Ilmiah, Majalah, Prosiding, dan Surat Kabar.

      ABSTRACT. Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum. f. sp. tacheiphillum is one of the important disease on chrysanthemum plant. The disease is difficult to control because the pathogen is a soil borne disease. This study was aimed to identify the role of the use of Gliocompost in an effort to reduce using of synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers were excessive but cheap, effective, environmentally friendly, and improve quality and yield of chrysanthemum cut flower.
